On the 14th of December 2010 The PAKOM group joined a large humanitarian act “KOS za KRALJEVO”, which was started by the Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS). The project is supported by Telecom, Telenor, VIP, UNICEF, Horisen, RNDIS, T3, and many other companies, institutions, organizations and the media.
The activity involves the complete basketball organization with over 15,000 participants (players, coaches, judges, clubs) from the youngest to the older members, students and pupils and number of prominent athletes and celebrities. Promoters of the action are our renowned players Zarko Paspalj and Dejan Tomasevic.
The funds raised in the activity will be spent on the reconstruction of schools and sports facilities damaged by an earthquake in Kraljevo and its surroundings.
The action lasts until 31st of March 2011, and includes, among other things, the following activities from which the entire income is going to fund the humanitarian action:
1."Birajmo najbolje" - SMS voting for the best Serbian basketball players (in senior and junior categories), coaches of male and female teams in 2010. 2. Memorial “Goca Bogojević " On the 21st of December 2010 in the Millennium Hall in Vrsac, where women's basketball games were held (IWBL League Against A League of Serbia, the games of youth, cadet and school selections). 3. Charity Weekend "Zaigrajmo za Kraljevo" on the 25th /26th of December 2010, which was held throughout Serbia with over 500 men and women's basketball games in all categories (from mini-basket, through cadets, youth to seniors). 4. Friendly basketball game between Serbia and Republika Srpska on the 26th of December 2010 in Laktasi. 5. Basketball - music spectacle "Kos za Kraljevo" on the 27th of December 2010, in the “Pionir” Hall in Belgrade where a basketball game (NLB League Against A League of Serbia, the game of youth, cadet, school and mini-basket selection) was held, with numerous additional programs: etnokarate, showdance, breakdance ... In the second, music part of the program the famous stars of the domestic scene performed. 6. “Ciglica za Kraljevo" a humanitarian project to collect funds for Kraljevo through NET and Mobile platforms.
In addition to the technical support of the action, PAKOM provided the service of SMS voting and M-ticketing free of charge and waived the full revenue, so visitors of “Kos za Kraljevo” were able to use the mobile phone to order, pay and take the Mobile ticket for a basketball and entertainment charity event for the first time.
